Ralph Braun Selected as a Champion of Change

Adaptive Driving Access is honored to share some very exciting news. Ralph Braun has been selected as a Champion of Change as part of the White House Administration’s “Winning the Future” initiative.

Each week, the White House honors Americans who embody the goal of building an America that will win the future. The honorees are nominated by the public, and they represent multiple categories ranging from educators to entrepreneurs to community activists.

Ralph’s award is in the category of Champions of Change for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) for people with disabilities. He will be recognized for his efforts to invent and engineer solutions for individuals with disabilities and for his overall impact initiating change in the disability community.

Recently, the White House hosted an event honoring Ralph and his fellow honorees. While Ralph was unable to attend, he was still recognized during the ceremony. The event included representatives from White House agencies, and a discussion was held among the participants about their work and their vision of a more accessible future for all. The conversation is viewable here on the White House You Tube Channel. You can also view Ralph’s blog on the White House website at:  www.whitehouse.gov/champions.

This is an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime honor for Ralph and The Braun Corporation and is especially fitting during their 40th anniversary year. Adaptive Driving Access is proud to be the exclusive BraunAbility dealer in Houston and Corpus Christi. We feel so lucky to represent such a great company!
