Hand Controls and Steering Devices

Adaptive Driving offers MPS, MPD, and Menox mechanical hand controls and steering devices, which we believe to be the best options available. This smooth operating control allows for miles and miles of relaxed trouble free driving.

The MPS Monarch 1-A hand control system offers the most popular and most recommended method of operation. The brake is applied by pushing the operating handle toward the brake petal. The accelerator is activated by moving the operating handle toward the driver's seat at a right angle to the break movement. These movements are the least fatiguing. The brake and accelerator can be used separately or simultaneously.

Installation of these products require a minimum amount of modifications to the vehicle and all hand controls and accessories may be used either for right or left hand operation. The hand control system requires that vehicles have an automatic transmission as well as power steering and brakes.
